This was the first chuch in Eastleigh. Designed by G.E. Street in was completed in 1868. It was first enlarged about 1884 and then again at the turn of the 20th Century. However it closed in 1978. In 1985 it was severely damaged by fire. Various plans were made to convert what remained of the building into offices before it was finally converted to flats in 2004. This was done by adding a steel frame within the building and adding a new roof. It was done in such a way that it has picked up many awards for design and construction.
